About Lumina
A spa built around unhurried time.
Lumina opened on Marina Walk in 2021 with one idea: the most generous thing a spa can offer a fast city is time that is truly yours.
Our story
Named for light, built for rest.
Lumina is Latin for light, and light is where the house began. There are no ceiling spotlights anywhere: every room is lit from below and behind, warm and low, the way evening light falls across stone.
We kept the house small on purpose. Six suites and one hammam means we can leave fifteen minutes between guests, so your therapist is never watching the clock and you are never hurried out of the lounge.
Our guests are Marina residents at the end of a long week, families from across the Gulf on holiday, and travellers who check in at Lumina before they check in to their hotel.

Fifteen minutes between every guest, unhurried consultations, and a lounge you can stay in for as long as you like.
Honest advice
We will often suggest fewer treatments, not more. If a 60-minute massage is what you need, that is what we will recommend.
Real ingredients
Cold-pressed argan, Taif rose, Omani frankincense, beldi soap and rhassoul clay. Oils are blended in-house every week.
Practised hands
Every therapist has at least six years of experience, and each one trains with our hammam and facial leads before their first guest.
In the treatment room
From the souk to the suite.
Our hammam uses traditional black soap and rhassoul clay from Morocco, and argan oil pressed by a women’s cooperative. Our signature oil is sesame with neroli and cedar; the Desert Rose blend mixes Taif rose with Omani frankincense.
Facial products come from small independent skincare labs that publish their full ingredient lists. Unscented options are always available; just ask at consultation.
